John

John Zivnuska

Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer

John Zivnuska is Hoonify’s COO, bringing fifteen years of experience in financial services and business operations in the High Performance Computing industry. John was inspired by Hoonify’s solutions as they make a capability otherwise available only to a few, suddenly accessible to everyone to solve their complex, critical problems. Capitalizing on his extensive experience in HPC business management and analytical skills, John oversees Hoonify’s day-to-day operations, resource management, and coordination between functions while leading the execution of specific strategies and projects for the company. John received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In his free time, you can find John enjoying adventures in his cars, spending time in the mountains, and traveling the world to experience different cultures and diverse natural beauty.

Victor

Victor Kuhns

Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Victor Kuhns founded Hoonify Technologies in 2021, after 27 years as a supercomputing systems engineer with Cray Research and DOE’s Sandia National Laboratories. His contributions were renowned for his involvement in design, management, and optimization of Top 500 DOE supercomputers such as the iconic Intel ASCI-RED and Cray Red Storm systems. A trailblazer in advanced architectures, he validated personal supercomputer prototypes over a dedicated two-year period through the Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and the US Intelligence Community, allowing complex problems to be solved in unique environments. Since 2022, Hoonify has continued supporting problem solving with high performance computing to private industry and government agencies who require secure, turn-key, and scalable solutions for critical science and engineering research.  Victor’s passions outside of his professional life revolve around rally and hill climb motorsports, campaigning a 700 horsepower Subaru up mountains like Pikes Peak.

Andrew

Andrew Clark

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Andrew Clark is the Co-Founder and CEO of Hoonify Technologies, a dual-use tech startup putting advanced supercomputing powers in the hands of everyday users. Hoonify spun out of DOE's Sandia National Laboratories in 2022 after three years successfully delivering all-in-one, high-performance software solutions to scientists and engineers who needed on-demand and efficient access to these critical resources for use at the edge.

Andrew spent over 25 years delivering IT and cyber security solutions to private industries and government agencies where personal safety and security were paramount. During his time within the national security community, Andrew combined his expertise in technology and leadership to ensure consistent mission success with diverse and driven teams. Today, Andrew uses these same skills to ensure Hoonify Technologies continues to drive technology beyond limits, giving everyone, anywhere, the ability to solve the world's greatest problems - from climate change, to curing cancer, to protecting our freedom - with the power of supercomputers

Randy Bio

Randy Asselin

DIRECTOR OF SALES, STRATEGY & CRITICAL MARKETS

Randy Asselin serves Hoonify with over 25 years of experience in technology development and commercialization. Randy's expertise lies in crafting and executing effective product and service strategies, drawing on his extensive experience to navigate challenges with strategic foresight. He leads the mission to extend Hoonify’s TurbOS supercomputing operating system from Federal Funded Research and Development Centers to commercial markets. He focuses his efforts across a range of enterprises, from large corporations to mid-sized businesses and small research institutions, always prioritizing customer advocacy and mutually beneficial outcomes. Randy thrives in dynamic environments, particularly startups and fast-growth companies, where he leverages his skills in business strategy, IP development, market extension, and strategic partnerships.

Outside of work, Randy enjoys pursuing his passions for motorcycling, road cycling, and live music. These activities provide him with a balance to his professional life, allowing him to recharge and find inspiration.

Blake

Blake Kinnan

Co-Founder & VP of Product Development

 

Blake Kinnan serves as Hoonify’s VP of Product Development, leveraging over 15 years of extensive expertise in mechanical, systems, and quality engineering. Also a co-founder, he has been integral to Hoonify's inception, ensuring that our products align with our mission of democratizing supercomputing, rendering it more accessible and user-friendly. Drawing from a wealth of both successful and challenging experiences, Blake steers product development efforts to align with market needs, meet project management objectives, and uphold stringent quality control standards. Blake holds a BS in Engineering Technology from the University of Central Florida and a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico. Outside of his professional endeavors, Blake indulges in building and racing cars, cherishes quality time with friends and family, and seeks opportunities to explore the world.

Connor Brown serves as Hoonify’s VP of Software Development and is driven by a passion for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in high-performance computing (HPC). With a career spanning dynamic roles at industry giants like Cray Inc. and prestigious government institutions like the DOE's Sandia National Labs, Connor has carved a niche in developing cutting-edge software solutions for advanced architectures. As the Vice President of Software for Hoonify, Connor is spearheading software initiatives, driving innovation, and working to develop the next generation of HPC software. Connor finds inspiration in the great outdoors whenever not working on pushing the limits of HPC.
